High above the rugged cliffs of Madeira’s north coast, a thrilling new attraction awaits adventure seekers: the Madeira Swing, officially known as the Baloiço Oceânico (Ocean Swing) at the Fajã do Barro viewpoint, in Lamaceiros, Porto Moniz.
Suspended more than 20 meters above sea level, this giant panoramic swing offers a breathtaking view over the deep blue Atlantic Ocean and Madeira’s lush, green cliffs. It’s not just a swing, it’s an unforgettable mix of adrenaline, serenity, and natural beauty.
Next to the swing, you’ll find another heart-racing attraction, the Panoramic Zipline, one of the highest and most scenic in Europe. This zipline stretches over 1.6 kilometres, offering a once-in-a-lifetime flight between steep mountain slopes and ocean views that stretch to the horizon.
Operated by Adrenaline X-Treme Adventures Madeira, this private eco-adventure project is designed to bring visitors closer to nature and maybe get their hearts pumping a little faster.
Whether you’re flying through the skies or swinging over the cliffs, the combination of thrill and scenery makes this one of Madeira’s most exciting outdoor experiences.
